It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Triesch, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who peacefully departed this life on May 10, 2025, in Temple, Texas, surrounded by her family. Born on December 15, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, Barbara was the cherished daughter of Otis and Joyce (Purgason) Wilson.

Barbara was a proud graduate of Dripping Springs schools and devoted her life to her family and career. In 1972, she married her loving husband, Daniel “Danny” Triesch, in Blanco, Texas, where they built a life together and raised their two sons. Known for her exceptional skills as a seamstress, Barbara began her professional journey at an upholstery shop in Austin before transitioning to banking. She started her banking career with Blanco National Bank and later dedicating 25 years to Ozona National Bank in Wimberley, from which she retired in 2018.

An active and faithful member of Liberty Lighthouse Fellowship, Barbara was deeply committed to her faith and community. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Daniel “Danny” Triesch; her two sons, Cody Triesch and his wife Jennifer, and Justin Triesch and his wife Codi; her grandchildren, Toby Triesch, Jewel Triesch, and Knox Triesch; her siblings, Sharon Crochet, Ronnie Reeves, and Jackie Wilson- Crunk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 16, at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 17, at Liberty Lighthouse Fellowship in Johnson City, with interment to follow in the historic Blanco Cemetery.

Barbara Jean Triesch will forever be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
