Margarete Parker Margarete Parker, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 95.

Margarete was born on August 19, 1929, in Erlangen, Germany, to Andreas and Babette Vimstein. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. Life eventually took her across borders and oceans, but she never lost touch with her German roots.

Margarete and Clifford Parker Sr. were married in Nancy, France, and shared 60 years of devoted marriage before Clifford’s passing. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

Margarete is survived by her children: Harold Parker and wife Julie of Mason, Bobby Parker and wife Michelle of Mason, David Parker and wife Kim of Grapevine, and her daughter Nancy James and husband Danny of Mason. Her legacy lives on in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and joy. She is also survived by her dear sister Hannah Virnstein of Germany.

Margarete was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clifford Parker Sr., her parents Andreas and Babette Vimstein, her son Clifford Parker Jr., her grandson Andrew Steven Williams, and her son-in-law Thomas Andrew Williams. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Elisabeth “Liesel,” Gunda, Adi, Alfred, Werner, Heinz, and Rudolf.

Margarete was known for her strength, grace, and wisdom. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She found joy in her family, cherished traditions, and the simple beauty of everyday life.

Her absence leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family and all who loved her, but her spirit will live on in the stories shared, the traditions carried forward, and the love she so freely gave.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 13, from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Gooch Cemetery.
