Asansion came to the United States when he was 20. He worked in Cherokee and in several other places. For many years he worked for the Winneke and Webster families.

Asansion was married to Fuljencia Morales and they made their home at Pontotoc. She preceded him in death, passing away in 2019.

Asansion was a kind, friendly man; good to everybody and always willing to help. He was well respected by those he worked with and those he worked for. He is survived by a sister Nicolasa Correa of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews including Antonio Perez of Fredonia.

Visitation was held Monday evening at Mason Funeral Home. The funeral service was held Tuesday, March 24, at 1:00 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Wagram Cemetery.
