David was kind, thoughtful and the life of the party with the biggest smile. He enjoyed keeping a vegetable garden and Tatum was picking up his green thumb from Papa. He never missed a Dallas Stars or Cowboys game – even when they were losing. His two motorcycles were his biggest love, behind the grandchildren. He loved fishing and would sit on the bank watching a lure bob for hours.

In 2021, David found Jesus and accepted him as his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, he never missed more than a week of church services and had made friends he cherished dearly at The Village Church. David loved to meet the men’s group for coffee and socializing.

David will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him. There will be a memorial service for David on Saturday March 14, at the Buggy Barn Museum in Blanco, beginning at 11 a.m. There will be a memorial motorcycle ride to begin at 1 p.m. to leave the Buggy Barn and go to the Albert Icehouse.
