Stephen Thomas Moran

Stephen Thomas Moran

Stephen Thomas Moran, age 36, passed away on Feb. 23, 2026, in Kingsland. He was born in Browns Mills, New Jersey, where he was raised and where his story began.

Known to everyone as Stevie, he was a proud graduate of Pemberton Township High School. After high school, he answered the call to serve his country and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, completing his training at Parris Island. Following his service, Stevie made his home in Texas, where he built a strong and respected career.

He worked in West Texas as a supervisor in the oilfield before going on to open and grow his own successful business, American Mobile Detailing in Kingsland. As the owner and operator, Stevie took immense pride in his work and was known for his dedication, attention to detail, and the care and craftsmanship he put into every job. His clientele loved him – not only for the quality of his work, but for the respect, kindness, and heart he brought to everything he did.

Stevie was a kind and gentle soul with a big heart. He had countless friends, many of whom he considered family, and he truly never met a stranger. He was known for his strong work ethic, his loyalty, and the friendships he made everywhere he went. He loved animals, especially his beloved dogs Roscoe and Monroe, who held a very special place in his heart. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, and in high school was part of the wrestling team and also played baseball. He had a large family both in New Jersey and Texas, and he was deeply loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas R. Bourque II and Tara Moran; his sister, Master Sergeant Caitlin Bourque; his brother, Nicholas Guido; and grandmother Mary Moran, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever carry his memory.

Services will be held in his hometown of Browns Mills, New Jersey. Details will be shared with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the fam ily asks that donations be made in Stephen Moran’s name to either the Highland Lakes Canine Rescue in Marble Falls or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Stevie will be remembered for his kindness, his dedication and the love he showed so freely to others. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
