Joe Herbert Luna
Joe Herbert Luna
Joe is survived by his precious son Jayden Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Jane Torquemada and Amalio Luna as well as his grandparents Gregorio and Julia Martinez.
Joe was beloved by all his close family and friends, often known for his heart and eagerness to be of help in any way he could. Whether it was giving his last dollar or assisting with locating whatever you needed, he was the man for the job. He loved his family so much, you could often catch him saying, “Hey big guy” then quickly reaching in his pocket to spoil the family littles.
No matter where Joe resided in the world, he was great at maintaining his relationships in life. Joe was always making his round of telephone calls daily to see how everyone was doing and to hear the latest on his hometown of Mason.
He loved family cookouts; Joe’s heart was always most full when he was surrounded by all his favorite people. He loved to cruise around with friends, hang out at the river, and jam out to music. Anytime Joe was down he pressed on and found a way to make everything work out. At one point he had his own window cleaning service and was hired as security for various events. As an avid football fan, he even had the unique opportunity to provide security at a Texas Longhorn game, which he loved to boast about!
Joe was a character all on his own and will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
