He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked hard all of his life in road and building construction, with the majority of those years spent with Sac & Pac in San Marcos.

Doug is survived by his three sons; Randy, Spencer and Sterling (Kipp) and their spouses. He was a proud grandfather of six and greatgrandfather of five.

A memorial service will be held on Jan. 31 (previously scheduled for Jan. 24 but changed for the probable cold weather) at 10:30 a.m. at Crofts-Crow Funeral Chapel in Johnson City with Pastor J.D. Link officiating.
