Sharon was a sweet, friendly presence while working at NuWay, the Commercial Bank, Dollar General, Dairy Queen and the Mason Livestock Auction café. She was also known for baking her famous snickerdoodles for family and friends and community events.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Susan Ann. She is survived by her husband, James; daughters Katherine (James) Clifton, Janet (Geoff) Horst, son Jake (Cinda); grandchildren Timothy (Lauren) Clifton, Morgan (Jacob) Forbis, Brandon Horst, Justin Horst, Dante Lindemann (Glory), Ethan ( Kim) Robinson; great-grandchildren Melany Clifton, Darcy Clifton, Zoey Hale, Lili Hale, Judah Forbis, EmmaLeigh Stroman, Kane Crews, Eden, and Madeline Robinson.

Visitation was held 5:007:00 pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and funeral services were at 10:00 am on Wednesday, 17, 2025 at the Mason Funeral Home with graveside services at Gooch Cemetery that followed.
