Patrick Weber

Patrick Weber

Patrick Weber, 66 of Pontotoc, Texas, passed away November 28, 2025 after a short but hard fought battle with cancer.

Patrick was bom March 4, 1959 in Fredericksburg, to Werner and Lena Weber. He was the owner of Weber Gulf in Fredericksburg until 1996.

On March 11, 2000, he married Theresa Herron, and together for almost 23 years, they owned and operated Weber Chevron in Mason, and also worked and ranched at their home in Pontotoc. In 2022 they sold the Chevron, and enjoyed retirement. They took many vacations with friends and enjoyed their grandchildren.

His years at the Chevron yielded him many lifelong friends and so many memories. However when he first opened the station he had no customers! Theresa was a little concerned about the lack of business but it didn’t take long for the Mason people to realize this German guy was for real and wasn’t going anywhere! He was there for the long haul.

Anyone who knew Patrick would tell you he was an honest and hard working man. Open seven days a week and even on many holidays the Chevron would be open with Patrick outside cleaning the driveway.

Along with his strong work ethic Patrick had one of the kindest hearts. One thanksgiving weekend he showed up at home with a random stranger who had broken down at the Chevron. Theresa of course was a bit leary of the situation but Patrick assured her the poor guy was old and they could outrun him if they had to. Patrick did a good thing and the man’s family never forgot his act of kindness.

After retirement one of his greatest joys was being a member of the Pontotoc Volunteer Fire Department. He would wait for the fire phone to ring and see how fast he could get to get firehall! Getting there first to open the doors was so important to him....

A few minutes after his passing Theresa was informed Patrick was an eye organ donor. As most knew, as a young child he had lost his eye, and this was Patrick’s way of giving the gift of sight to someone in need. Again he was giving a gift to a complete stranger but that was just Patrick’s nature.

Having been raised in an extremely religious Catholic household, Patrick was a devout Christian. Even in his darkest hours he never lost hope, saying God would guide him.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents, one sister Peggy Wagner and his nephew, David Weber, Jr.

Patrick is survived by his wife Theresa, son Cheyenne Weber of Boerne, daughter Lissa Wickey and husband Jason of Texas City, son Chase Stiles and wife Tara of Garden City and five grandchildren, Colton Weber, Bella and Connor Wickey and Kenzie and Holley Stiles. He is also survived by his brother David Weber and wife Babette Weber, brother in law Bill Wagner and brother in law John Herron, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his extended family TJ and Connie Webster, Jody, Kelly and Addie Webster and Jennie Armes, all of Pontotoc.

Although not blood related, he is also survived by his good friends Kelton and Ann Duecker of Fredericksburg and William and Patricia Beaty of Mason. There were many vacations and “gambling weekends” had with these cherished couples. In fact both couples were at the hospital with Theresa and Cheyenne when he passed.

Services will be held Wednesday December 3 at 10:00 at the Global Methodist Church in Mason with Pastor Stacey Evans officiating. Burial will be at the Pontotoc Cemetery immediately after.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Grote, Cody Hatfield, Chris Feller, Roy Morris, Charles Stehling and Cody Farmer.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Pontotoc Volunteer Fire Department The family requests memorials be made to the Pontotoc Cemetery Association or the Pontotoc Volunteer Fire Department.

You were taken from us too soon. There will never be another Patrick Weber and we are honored you chose us to be your family. You never wanted anything for yourself but always made sure we were taken care of and we will always love you and miss you.

Theresa, Cheyenne and Lissa.
