It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tommy Charles Davidson, who left this world on Aug. 6, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on June 9, 1947, in Brownsville, Texas, Tommy was a man whose life was characterized by his love for family, his faith, and his engaging spirit.

Raised in Brownsville, Tommy later moved to Austin, where he built a loving family and created countless cherished memories. After a fulfilling career with Texas Parks and Wildlife, he and his beloved wife, Carol Marie, moved to Blanco, where they enjoyed their retirement years together.

Tommy was a devoted Christian, finding strength and guidance in his faith. He is survived by his loving daughter, Anna Burkhart, and her husband, Steve Burkhart, as well as his son, Aaron Davidson. He took great pride in being a grandfather to Echoe Bruns and her husband, Matthew Bruns, and Canyon Burkhart, who brought him immense joy and fulfillment.

A true lover of dogs, Tommy found companionship and happiness in the presence of his furry friends. He had a remarkable gift for conversation, always eager to share stories and connect with others. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Tommy is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol Marie, whose memory he cherished throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved h im.

As we remember Tommy, let us celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and a profound connection to family and friends. May his legacy inspire us to cherish our loved ones and the moments we share together.
