Robert, the son of Rosita Fernandez Moreman and Elam Doyle Moreman, grew up in Brownsville and Victoria; he later moved to Beaumont, where he graduated from Beaumont High School in 1949. He earned a business degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1953.

Following his service in Korea, Robert joined Merrill Lynch as a stockbroker. He was active in the Beaumont Rotary Club and a devoted member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He married Gail Nance in 1958. They shared 68 years together.

Upon retirement, Robert and Gail settled outside Johnson City, where he enjoyed golfing and gardening. Days before passing, he was still giving golf lessons to his grandchildren from the porch.

A lifelong Roman Catholic, he attended St. Francis-Xavier Church in Stonewall. His friends in Beaumont, Johnson City, and Stonewall are blessed to have known a man of such character, kindness, and love.

Robert is survived by wife Gail, son Robert Miguel Moreman, Jr. and Sally Roche Moreman, and their children Robert III and Rosalind, daughter Florence Krupnick and Jack Krupnick, and their children Jackson, Katie, and Jon, daughter Alicia Allsopp and Wes Leland, and her children, Andrew, Abby and Lucas, and son John Andrew Moreman and Allison Moreman and their children, Benton and Ford and his nieces Madeline Stiles, Melissa Atkinson, and Anne Hobbs. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Richard Edward Doyle Moreman, and his nephew Richard Edward Doyle Moreman Jr.

Services will be held at St. Francis-Xavier Catholic Church at 11am Saturday, August 16. Visitation is at 10:00 am at the church. A reception will follow at the Moreman Ranch.
