It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Jeanne Roeglin, 86, who passed away peacefully on July 11 in Gause, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on March 18, 1939, in Temple, Texas to Betty Gordon and John Masengill.

Betty married her love, Ronnie Warden, on August 15, 2015 in Llano. They lived in Tow, for the last 12 years, enjoying retirement living by the lake.

Betty was a florist, owner of the Flower Shack in Austin for 19 years. She provided florals for many happy wedding couples in Austin and surrounding areas. She worked in retail for many years, also, dressing local Austin ladies for all their formal weddings and events. In semi-retirement she worked in retail for another five years in Llano at The Boutique and at Burnet and Marble Falls.

Betty worked in the Capital of Texas in the Comptroller's Office right after graduating from Austin High School.

Betty (Mimi) was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and true friend to anyone she met. She always had a kind word for everyone. She gave tirelessly for years to the homeless in Austin.

Mimi loved gardening and always had lots of pretty flowers. She loved animals and had many lucky fur babies.

Betty is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Warden, son David Roeglin and wife Lisa of Gause, daughter Dana Chappell and husband Jason of Colleyville. Grandchildren Nicole Roeglin and fiance Nicholas Harp of Ft. Worth, Bailey Santos and husband Michael of Los Angeles, grandson Hagen Allen of Ft. Worth and great-granddaughter Kinley Roeglin of Ft. Worth.
