Beginning on June 1, the Good Samaritan pantry began to distribute custom- made first aid kits to clients provided by the Blanco Women’s Club. Monette Harbert and her group within the club hand packed 300 kits with flexible adhesive bandages gauze pads, butterfly bandages (medium and large), antiseptic wipes, a tweezer and gloves. Each family will take home a kit for quick response to minor emergencies. Supporting the community is a basic goal of the Blanco Women’s Club and the Good Samaritan is grateful to be a recipient of their time-honored work.
