Blanco’s 2025 High School graduation ceremony’s speakers repeatedly invoked themes of compassion, commitment, kindness, faith, service to others, and gratitude for the love shown by the community as a whole during the course of Friday’s event.

Kylie Ridner opened the ceremony with the inspiring statement, “This moment is not just a celebration of past achievements but a reminder of the potential within each of us to shape the future,” and that graduation is “not the end but the beginning of something far greater.”

Lillian Smith led the invocation, which said, “We ask for your continued presence and guidance. May we carry with us the values of integrity, compassion, and curiosity” and gave thanks for “the lessons learned inside and outside the classroom.” She also said, “May we use our knowledge not only for personal achievement but also to uplift others, to serve our communities, and to be forces of good in the world.”
