The Blanco softball team finished the 2025 season with a 23-4 overall record and a 10-0 mark in district play to claim the District 5-3A championship.
The Lady Panthers moved into the bi-district round of playoffs against the Clyde Lady Bulldogs. In a best of three series, Clyde won game one 12-6 on April 24. Blanco fought hard and rallied in the final inning, but fell short in game two, 7-6, on April 26 to close the season.
The team posted some impressive totals in 2025 by scoring 362 runs with 335 hits. The hits included 231 singles, 78 doubles, six triples and 20 home runs. The team RBI total was 315. The batting average for the season was .479 with a .573 on base percentage and a .693 slugging average. The Lady Panthers drew 119 walks and were hit-by-pitch 49 times. Blanco tallied 68 stolen bases.
