Mason City Commission Swears In Two New Commissioners

Mason’s City Commission presided over the administration of the oath of office to two incoming Commissioners and bade farewell to those leaving office at a special meeting Friday evening.

Originally scheduled for Monday, May 12, the Commission’s regular meeting had to be rescheduled due to the wrong date being published on the agenda.

Commissioners approved the resolution canvassing the returns of the May 3 City of Mason general election. A total of 123 votes were cast in the election, said City Secretary Pattie Allen.
