The Mason High School boys golf team finished tied for sixth at the Class 2A state tournament after a rain soaked course May 5-6 forced officials to declare a winner after one round of golf.
The event was played at the Lions Municipal Golf Course in Austin.
As a team, the Punchers shot a 337, paced by Kalen Langehennig's 78 to finish 14th overall in the individual standings.
