Mason Netters Remain the Region's Best
The 2025 Mason High School Class 2A Region IV tennis players continue to show why the program is among the elite in any class in any sport in the state. The Punchers and Cowgirls had an all-Mason final in four of the five regional draws, capturing no worse than silver in every championship. The Mason High School tennis team continues its quest to add more state championships to its storied history.

Every singles and doubles team that competed at the Class 2A Region IV tournament May 9-10 in Corpus Christi advanced to the Class 2A state tournament by earning no worse than silver in every draw.

'It was a good weekend,' head coach Cade Smith said. 'We got first and second in every draw except girls singles. We'll take 15 out of 16 players – we'll take everyone we brought to regionals to state. That's what we planned on.'
