The unofficial results of the Llano County May 3, 2025 Joint General Election were released just before 10:00 pm Saturday night. With just 9.04% of registered voters participating (1,875 out of 20,751), turnout was low, but the decisions made by those who did vote were significant across city and school board races.

In the most closely watched race of the evening, Grant Morgan held onto his early voting lead to edge out challenger Pam Huston for Llano ISD Trustee, Place 2. Morgan secured 839 votes (64.49%) during absentee and early voting and added another 242 votes (51.60%) on Election Day, bringing his final unofficial total to 1,081 votes (61.07%). Huston closed the gap slightly with 227 Election Day votes (48.40%), but ultimately finished with 689 votes (38.93%).

With 1,770 total votes cast in the race, and no overvotes reported, Morgan appears poised for victory pending official certification. This was considered a good turnout for the school board election, with nearly 95% of voter participation.
