On Saturday, May 3, the ladies of Blue Lake Estates and Deerhaven got together for their annual Blue Haven Ladies Luncheon.
This year’s luncheon was hosted by Blue Lake Estates and there were 25 ladies in attendance at the Blue Lake Community Center. The theme was “Talk Derby to Me.”
Many of the ladies came sporting their Kentucky Derby hats. The ladies enjoyed a delicious lunch of ham and cheese quiche, mixed muffins and fruit and walnut salad on bib lettuce with derby pie bars, lemon tarts, lemon bars and bourbon balls for dessert. Kelly Hardin coordinated the event with help from Christine Nicknish, Diana Altrichter, Dora Tweed, Leah Roust, Patty Collier, Janice Bosco and Sally Filler. A lovely time was had by all in attendance.
