Frontera Receives Major Grant Awards for Mason Clinic Renovation; Launches Final Phase of Capital Campaign

Frontera has received two significant grants to support the renovation of the Mason Clinic: a $151,446 grant from the Create Healthy Foundation and a $113,850 grant from the San Angelo Area Health Foundation. These investments mark a significant step forward in Frontera’s progress toward completing the renovation of the Mason Clinic and bringing the project closer to fruition.

The Create Healthy Foundation and the San Angelo Area Health Foundation (SAAHF) are both committed to strengthening rural health systems and expanding access to quality care for underserved communities. The Create Healthy Foundation, based in Fredericksburg, focuses on improving health outcomes across the Texas Hill Country by investing in initiatives that increase access to healthcare and promote wellness. Similarly, SAAHF enhances quality of life in the Concho Valley through impactful health-related grants, with a strong emphasis on rural infrastructure and sustainable care delivery. Their missions align closely with Frontera’s commitment to ensuring that residents in rural areas have access to compassionate, comprehensive medical services close to home.

With the help of these generous foundations, Frontera is making critical upgrades to the Mason Clinic to improve patient access, modernize equipment, and enhance the delivery of care to the region. Once complete, the renovated clinic will serve as a cornerstone of healthcare for Mason and surrounding areas.
