Inclement weather forced University Interscholastic League officials to conduct the Class 2A State Track and Field Championships over two days May 2-3.
The meet was conducted at Mike Myers Stadium on the University of Texas at Austin campus.
But when it was complete, the Mason High School track and field program nabbed two state medals thanks to the performances of two relay teams.
