Slawinski’s Dominant Effort Leads Johnson City to Bi-District Win

Johnson City beat Rosebud- Lott 3-0 on May 3 to become bi-district champions and advance to the second round of the playoffs.

Senior Johnny Slawinski highlighted the win with a standout performance on the mound and a productive game at the plate. With Major League scouts in attendance at several Johnson City games this season, Slawinski has put together a special season, and the win over Rosebud-Lott was the latest chapter.

“It’s nothing new for that kid,” head coach Rhett Eickenloff said. “He does it week after week, and we’re going to continue to ride him as long as we can.”
