The beginning of May means the start of 7-on-7 leagues for the Llano Yellow Jackets.
The Yellow Jackets made the first of three trips to Burnet May 5 to take on the Burnet Bulldogs and the Marble Falls Mustangs.
A number of players stepped into pivotal roles for Llano, including rising senior quarterback Grayson Lilie, a move-in from Austin Vandegrift, who played on the Jackets' junior varsity in the fall.
