The Mason High School baseball team is making final preparations to face Thorndale in a best-of-three bi-district series as part of the Class 2A Division 1 playoffs.
Game one is at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, and game two will begin 30 minutes after the first contest ends. Game three, if necessary, is Saturday, May 3, at 12:00 p.m. The series will be played in Manor.
Thorndale (19-3, 12-0 District 27-2A champion) is ranked No. 5 in the latest Class 2A poll of the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association.
