The Llano Independent School District (LISD) Board of Trustees held its regular monthly meeting on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the Llano ISD Community Building. The meeting highlighted student accomplishments, included financial updates, and featured key approvals for technology and facility investments funded by the district’s ongoing bond projects. Board member Dean Campbell was absent.

Attorney Carrie Pickering of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson LLP presented LISD with a check for $20,425.34 in excess proceeds from a recent property tax sale. The funds will be returned to the district’s budget, marking a successful conclusion to the case.

During the “Llano ISD Student Spotlight” segment, Trustees recognized the winners of the 2024–2025 Texas Daughters of the American Revolution contest and the winner of the Central Texas Electric Cooperative (CTEC) Essay Contest, who will represent the district on the Government-in-Action Youth Tour. Additionally, a student who qualified for the 2025 USA Shooting Junior Olympic Championship was honored for their accomplishment.
