The Mason High School boys track and field team was superb at the Class 2A Region IV Championships as illustrated by capturing the team title with 80 points.
The meet was conducted April 18-19 at Texas A&M-Kingsville.
Head coach Michael Mc-Leod said every single point each Puncher contributed was vital in being first overall. Athletes and relays must finish in the top six of each event to earn points for their team, even though their seasons may have ended at this meet.
