Two More Public Meetings Scheduled Before Blanco ISD Bond Vote

Two more informational meetings are coming up ahead of the next month’s election when Blanco voters will be deciding on two school bond propositions. The next public meeting will be on April 23, in the cafeteria at Blanco Elementary and the final meeting will be on May 1, at the Blanco High School cafeteria. Both meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. Two meetings were held earlier this month.

On May 3, voters will be deciding whether to approve two bond proposals totaling $32,965,000. Voting must be done at the Blanco ISD Administration Building.

“Voters will consider two propositions, separated in accordance with state law. Proposition A, in the amount of $32,215,000, includes infrastructure improvements, educational programs, safety and security improvements, instructional technology, new buses and HVAC replacements and controls. Proposition B, in the amount of $750,000, includes instructional technology for staff and students.”
