The Llano High School powerlifting teams defended their turf well during their own Yellow Jacket Powerlifting Meet January 30 at the John L Kuykendall Event Center and Arena.
The Lady Jackets finished second in the team standings, while the Yellow Jackets came in fifth.
"We had one girl bomb out," Lady Jackets head coach Richard Kattner said. "Other than than, everyone did well. They're pretty good, they're fit."
