The Johnson City baseball team won games last week against Goldthwaite and Blanco.
The Eagles won a 7-5 road district game at Goldthwaite on March 10 and capped the week with a 10-0 non-district victory on March 13 at home against Blanco.
The Eagles’ district schedule has three breaks for non-district opponents, including Friday’s win over Blanco. Despite not having a direct impact on the district chase, head coach Rhett Eickenloff finds every game important as the playoff hunt continues.
