Outstanding Season Produces Postseason Awards for the Cowgirls
Senior power forward Anna Marie Whitworth is among the greatest athletes in Mason history as illustrated by her more than 2,000 points and more than 1,100 rebounds while wearing the purple and white. She is joined by her family, including mother Rebekah Whitworth, father Jared Whitworth and sister Elizabeth Whitworth. Anna Marie has won just about every award imaginable, including all-state honors and Most Valuable Player. That streak continued in her final season.

Several Mason High School girls basketball players were recognized for their play by different entities across the state.

The Cowgirls, who won the District 29-2A title with a perfect 12-0 record, received three individual superlative awards.

One was the District’s Most Valuable Player that went to senior power forward Anna Marie Whitworth.
