Blanco County voters cast their ballots in favor of Brett Bray in his re-election bid for Blanco County Judge and in favor of Todd Swift for Blanco County Precinct 2 Commissioner in the Republican Party primary election last Tuesday.

No candidate filed to run as a Democrat in any county election, meaning that there will not be a general election in November unless someone files as a write-in candidate this summer.

Bray, seeking a third term as county judge, received 51.45 percent of the votes in unofficial results released Tuesday in the primary election. Since he received over half the vote, there will not be a runoff later this spring. Challengers Stephanie Fisher and Ray Bible received 30.31 percent and 13.23 percent, respectively, in the primary election.
