On March 3rd, 2026, Mason voters overwhelmingly voted for Shannon Worrell for Mason County Judge. Voting results showed Worrell with 849 versus Garrett Allen’s 398.
Worrell responded to the win late Tuesday. “I am overwhelmed with gratitude tonight. I gave this race everything I had, and I trust God with the rest. I am deeply thankful to the citizens of Mason County for your confidence and support. This victory belongs to our community, and I am committed to serving every resident with fairness, professionalism, and an open door. Together, we will move forward with strength, unity, and respect for the responsibilities of this office.”
In an email with the News Allen addressed the election results. “As the dust settles on this election, we find ourselves overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support shown to us throughout this journey. While we did not come out on top, we have complete peace about the outcome. We prayed diligently and trusted that it was in God’s hands every step of the way.
