The Llano County Commissioners Court gathered Monday, March 9 for a meeting that balanced court duties, celebration and farewell - marking the final session presided over by outgoing County Judge Ron Cunningham after two terms in office.
The JP4 courtroom was decorated for the occasion, with staff arranging refreshments and placing a large framed thank-you card for attendees to sign with notes of appreciation and well-wishes for the departing judge.
Cunningham announced on January 27 that he would resign following the March Primary Election after accepting a position as a County Resource Officer for West and Central Texas with the Texas Association of Counties (TAC). His new role begins March 16.
