The Llano High School softball team went 3-2 at its own tournament February 26-28.

The Lady Jackets beat Comanche 8-7 and Sonora 8-2 to begin the event and gutted out a 4-1 victory against San Angelo Texas Leadership. Losses were to Ballinger 8-7 and Glen Rose 15-0.

“I think that the girls are playing extremely well,” head coach Tim Hulon said. “We're playing hard. They're doing everything I ask them to do good. The word ‘chemistry’ right now is what really has us playing well. They’re really encouraging to one another and allowing us to grow as a team.”
