The Blanco-Pedernales Groundwater Conservation District moved to Stage 4 of its drought plan last Thursday.
This escalation reflects the continued decline in groundwater levels across the district and the heightened risk to municipal, agricultural, and residential water supplies, according to a BPGCD press release.
