The 14th annual Purse Bingo fundraiser for the Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center was held Saturday, Feb. 21, in the grand ballroom at the Horseshoe Bay Resort, raising $360,000 for the organization.

All 900 available tickets were sold for the event, which supports the Center’s services to children and families in Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano and San Saba counties.

The all-day affair began with a light lunch and a table decorating contest that once again showcased the imagination and tenacity of attendees. Groups arrived in coordinated costumes to match their table themes, transforming the ballroom into a spectacle of elaborate tablescapes. Gravity-defying canopies, motorized features and vibrant décor created an atmosphere that was equal parts pageantry and celebration.
