Baseball executive Reid Ryan was the featured speaker Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the Rudy Davalos HSB Sports Club.
He was introduced by past club president Tim McMurray with some of his significant personal accomplishments: former Texas Longhorn, TCU Horned Frog, former president of the Houston Astros and CEO of Ryan Sanders Baseball.
Perhaps you (like me) are still wondering: who is Reid Ryan? For those (like me) who only know about the headline makers in sports, the headlines failed to mention that Reid Ryan is the son of legendary MLB pitcher Nolan Ryan. Perhaps that is unfair to all of Reid Ryan’s enormous accomplishments, but you (like me) might not have taken more note of the founder and president of the Round Rock Express.
