A full field of 120 players competed Friday, Feb. 13 in the Johnson Sewell event at Slick Rock golf course.
The Stableford format rewarded net birdies and eagles with higher points, so more was indeed better in this unique format.
Keith Compton took the gold medal in the first flight with 38 points. Jay Perez took the second flight with 40 points and Greg Condrey won the third flight with 41 points. In the fourth flight, Kirk Robison once more took the podium with 40 points, Greg Cardwell won the fifth flight with 38 points and John Kaszynski medaled in the sixth flight with 39 points.
