The Blanco girls basketball team added two District 5-3A wins to its record last past week.
The Lady Panthers defeated Brady 31-22 Feb. 3 and topped Florence 50-20 last Friday. Blanco has a 16-15 overall record and is tied with Ingram for second in the district with a 7-2 record. Llano is first with an 8-1 record. Brady is fourth at 3-6, while Comfort is fifth at 2-7 and Florence is 0-9.
In the game against Brady, the Lady Panthers led 7-6 at the end of the first quarter and 17-10 at halftime. The Lady Panthers outscored the Lady Bulldogs 14-12 in the second half.
