The JCVFD held its monthly business meeting on Jan. 28, at 6 p.m., and there were no public speakers.
Members were asked to consider prospective member Michael Mixx for full time membership. President Ray Bible said, “Michael has been doing a good job for us and is an asset to the fire department. I am recommending him for full time membership.”
Ryan Keith and Timothy Gell motioned for approval of Mixx as a full member of the JCVFD, the motion passed unanimously, and there were congratulations all around.
