The Mason High School girls basketball team is the 2025- 26 District 29- 2A champions, the Cowgirls’ first title since the 2021-22 season.
Mason has rolled to a 34-1 record and 11-0 in district play. Only one game remained in the regular season, at home against Center Point February 10. The result wasn’t ready by press time.
The Cowgirls will enter the Class 2A playoffs as the district’s No. 1 seed and will meet Brackettville Bracket at 6:30 p.m. Monday, February 16, in Junction for a bi-district title.
