Founded in an Austin kitchen in 2013, the Kuhdoo Soap Company, now based in Llano, is a small company with a growing footprint. Its specialty handmade soaps and balms ship nationwide and can be found in large chain stores like H-E-B and Buc-ee’s.
However, local business owner Robert Little, who also is a candidate for county commissioner, has sued Kaysha Kosman, the founder and co-owner of Kuhdoo, claiming that contributions of his time and expertise, and $416,000, in cash, contributed to her company’s success and that he has not been compensated.
“Over the last year, Little has used his business acumen and interpersonal skills to turn a struggling business on the brink of closure into one whose product has been approved for sale by a beloved travel center/convenience store chain as well as other well-recognized vendors across the country,” according to the 13-page petition that was filed in Llano County’s 424th Judicial District Court on Aug. 11, 2025. “Little made significant financial and sweat equity investments in Kuhdoo Soap Co., LLC in return for [Kosman]’s...promise of a 49% equity share in the company.”
