Filing will run through Feb. 13 for three positions on the Blanco City Council and two positions on the Blanco ISD Board of Trustees.
Filing opened last month. Place 1 and Place 2 will be up for election this May for the school board. Aaron Lux is the current board member for Place 1 and has been on the board since 2023. Larry Kuebel, who has been a board member since 2014, is the current Place 2 member. Lux has filed for re-election as of noon Monday, while Kuebel has not. Robert Allison is the lone candidate as of noon Monday for the Place 2 position.
Filing for Blanco ISD Board of Trustees must be done at 814 Eleventh Street in Blanco. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The last day to file for office is Feb. 13.
