An alleged armed robbery at CJ’s Food Plaza on Sunday, Jan. 25, is under investigation. According to Blanco Police Chief Jerry Thornhill, “The Blanco Police Department does currently have an open and active investigation regarding an alleged robbery at CJ’s Food Plaza (Valero Gas Station).
Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, we are limited in the information that can be released at this time. Please be assured that the incident is being thoroughly investigated.
Additional information will be provided if and when it becomes appropriate to do so without compromising the investigation.” Anyone with information about the incident should contact the police department.
