The Blanco girls basketball team won a pair of games last week, including a buzzer beater Wednesday to move into district contention.
The Lady Panthers beat Ingram 46-45 on Wednesday after a last-second shot by Kinley Boyd gave the home team the win. The game was delayed a day due to icy road conditions. Blanco also defeated Comfort 37-17 last Friday.
Ingram played district leader Llano Friday and won 36-29. Llano currently leads the district at 6-1. Blanco and Ingram are tied for second at 5-2. Brady is fourth at 3-4. Blanco is 1415 overall.
