Republican candidates seeking office in the March 3, 2026 primary elections gathered in Llano on Thursday, January 29, for a meet and greet with local voters at Sandstone Mountain Ranch. The event, held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., gave county Republicans the chance to hear directly from candidates appearing on ballots ranging from statewide to local races.
The symposium was organized by Robert and Bonnie Wallace and the Llano County Conservatives PAC. The group’s stated mission is to transform the community by championing Christian conservative candidates for every elected office in Llano County. All candidates invited to speak are endorsed by the PAC, which provides its chosen candidates with tools, resources, and support.
The symposium was moderated by Luke Macias, a Texas-based political consultant and host of The Luke Macias Show podcast. Active in Texas politics since 2006, Macias is known for his work supporting and electing conservative public servants across the state.
