Emergency responders are urging motorists to slow down and follow directions after a two-vehicle crash Saturday night at the intersection of Highways 29 and 71 West.
Llano Volunteer Fire Department responded to the crash at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25. Firefighters were joined on scene by Llano County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Hamilton EMS. Crews remained at the location for more than two hours providing patient care, clearing debris, and directing traffic in below-freezing temperatures and icy road conditions.
According to Llano County Emergency Management Coordinator Gilbert Bennett, the crash involved a Ford F-450 pulling a 30-foot trailer and required both highways to be shut down while emergency crews worked the scene.
