Deputies with the Llano County Sheriff’s Office and Hamilton EMS responded to the 900 block of Airway Street in Kingsland at approximately 7:26 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, after receiving a report of an unresponsive male.
The individual was identified as Mark Berryhill of Kingsland. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Berryhill was airlifted by CareFlite helicopter to Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas in Austin.
Scanner traffic described an individual who had reportedly been struck in the face with fists earlier, had been put to bed, and was later found unresponsive but still breathing. The Llano County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division also responded to the scene.
