There will be a leadership change at Blanco ISD this summer.

The school district announced Monday that Clay Rosenbaum, Blanco ISD superintendent since 2017, “has announced his intention to retire.” His last day with the school district will be June 30.

“Mr. Rosenbaum has been a steady and inspiring leader for our district, always placing students, staff and families at the heart of his work,” the school district’s statement said. “His commitment to education and to BISD has helped shape our district and strengthen our community. We are deeply grateful for his many years of service and the lasting impact he has made.”
